First and foremost, I have to give the biggest shout out to my girl Toni with Toni G Photo. This girl is the definition of photography community! I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that if it wasn’t for her constant encouragement I would still be sitting on the sidelines HATING my 8-5 job instead of chasing my dreams of becoming a full time wedding photographer!

Let’s go back to late December, my husband had just purchased me my first professional camera. I was so excited but sooooo nervous and did not have the first clue where to begin. I reached out to Toni and she invited me to not only attend the monthly FresnoPhotogs meetings, but she also gave me so much advise on the camera gear and equipment I would need to be successful in this industry.

I was fortunate enough to finally meet Toni at a styled shoot she hosted in February. She continued to be sooooo helpful and encouraging I couldn’t help but feel so lucky to have come into contact with such a sweet soul. Shortly after this styled shoot, I reached out to Toni again. This time I was asking her “what can I do to get into weddings” I told her it was my ultimate DREAM and I even had a few wedding inquires, but I was wanting to get as much experience as possible! That’s when this sweet human invited me to shoot with her at her next wedding.

That brings us to March 3, 2019; the most amazing Almond Blossom Elopement I’ve ever seen. Lacey and Luke were such a dream to work with and I couldn’t have felt more honored to be there for their big day. Their love literally melted my heart from the second I showed up. This day could not have gone anymore perfect; literally! As we were driving to the orchard for their ceremony the sky opened up in a  DOWN POOR. I remember looking at Toni thinking oh. my. goshhhhhhh. I hope our gear survives this. Even as we were setting up, Luke and the guest arrived; the rain kept coming down, hard! But just as Lacey pulled up, the sky cleared and the most beautiful rainbow appeared right over the orchard. I would be lying if I said I did not cry at the beauty of it all.

From the bottom of my heart; I cannot thank Toni, Lacey and Luke enough for allowing me to capture such precious moments. I will forever and always remember the rush, joy and excitement this day gave me.
