This session was just so much fun! I actually first met Stephanie when I second shot her cousin’s wedding this past summer with a good friend of mine, and then after she and Alejandro got engaged, she started following me on Instagram.

These two met forever ago when Alejandro was playing soccer with Stephanie’s brother, and apparently both of them had a thing for each other and tried to use the brother as messenger, but he never delivered the messages! 🙂 Luckily, they still ended up starting to date, and have been together ever since!

Alejandro proposed this past summer with the sweetest picnic, and of course Stephanie said YES!!! It’s become an inside joke to call their wedding “The Royal Wedding” because they have  such a huge family and live in such a small town that everybody knows they’ve been together for forever and are all just so excited for this next step!

We shot their engagement session in Coarsegold, and just had the best time together! They’re such a fun couple, so lighthearted, so easy to photograph, and so into each other that it just made my job a breeze!! Stephanie told me that they both felt so comfortable at the session and that they both loved the photos so much…Alejandro commented that I made it so easy and fun, and that “dang! we look so good!” in all the photos! Things like that make my heart so happy to hear, because it’s something I strive toward with every single session!

We’ll definitely be seeing more of this “royal” couple next summer at their June wedding, and I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!!
