Oh my goooodness, this session was so much fun but also SO COLD. These guys were absolute troopers though!

Sam is actually my cousin, and she now lives out in Gilroy. They all made a weekend trip up to have family photos done, and I’m so glad that they did! It was so much fun getting to catch up with Sam and obviously to see her beautiful little girl, Avery. As you can see by the photos, Avery is so darn cute that I could just eat her up!

We opted for a sunrise session at Yosemite (which is something I recommend to all of my clients so that we get in and out of there before it gets too crazy with tourists), which meant that we had the place pretty much to ourselves but also meant that it was FREEZING. But they didn’t let it bother them and just danced and smiled and had so much fun with it.

Sam’s boyfriend’s family jumped in for a few shots at the end of the session, and then we high-tailed it out of there before the crowds came. It was such a great time though, and I’m so glad I was able to reconnect with Sam and her little family like this!
